Hi, I’m Karen.
I started the HR Entrepreneur’s Network because I believe that the HR profession is on the cusp of re-invention and there has never been a better time to build a home for the game changers, the rebels, the disruptors and the troublemakers. You’re my kind of people and you’re all welcome here!

I believe there is more innovation and commercial thinking in HR now than there has ever been in the past. The planets are aligning so to speak for a truly remarkable shift. I’m inspired by the people I meet, the conversations I have and the progressive work being done in our field.
I’m excited to share my thoughts here and celebrate the transformation of our profession and the future of work. I have an ambition that when I get to the end of my career I’ll be able to look back and know I made a difference, know that I changed things for the better and that I helped other people to achieve great things along the way. I want to look back and say I built a network that brought together exceptional people and we did AMAZING work.
In many ways we re-invented HR (It won’t be called that then) and we inspired those that will follow to achieve great things.

A post I never thought I’d have to write…
Sometimes we choose reinvention and sometimes reinvention chooses us. Whichever way it happens, it can be a painful but essential process for us to experience, certainly in business but also on a personal level too. In December 2017 I had a serious wake up...
